June 2nd  2021 - Republic Day

ITALIAN REPUBLIC DAY 2021

In Italy, the Republic Day is celebrated on 02nd June. This year we will celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Birth of the Italian Republic (Institutional Referendum 1946). Due to Covid-19, a reduced version of the ceremony is planned: the military parade will not be carried out at the Imperial Forums (Rome), but the day will still be commemorated through our President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, who will deposit, as a tribute, a laurel wreath on the Tomb of the "Unknown Soldier" at the Altare della Patria (Rome) and will tell the story from the foundation of our Republic to today, to a group of elementary school children. Of course, we will see the Frecce Tricolori (National Aerobatic Team) whizzing over our skies which, like every year, will depart from the nearby military airport of Istrana (TV) - base of the 51st Wing of the Italian Air Force - to reach the capital.

On this occasion, we remind you that for this National Day, our company will be closed.
